Privacy policy
How information is handled when you browse the site or contact us.
You can browse and try fictional examples without registration or payment forms. Information you send is used as needed to respond. Contact our representative email to exercise access, deletion or other rights.
01Who handles information and what this covers
SAEDAL (새달) handles information for the Optworks website and inquiries received by KakaoTalk or email. Representative 김도경 is the contact for privacy requests at d.kim@optworks.kr.
There are no registration, checkout, inquiry or newsletter forms on this website. Fictional Store and Lab data, searches and calculator values stay in the current page’s memory; the site does not submit them to a server or save them in browser storage.
02Inquiry information and its purpose
We use the information you choose to send only as needed to answer. You can start with a reply channel and a description of your work; not every item below is required.
- Information: sender email address or the profile and conversation identifiers provided through KakaoTalk, message content, attachments and conversation time. Names, organizations, other contact details and attachments are handled only if you send them.
- Purpose: answering inquiries, preparing the quote or agreement you request, and supporting an existing service.
- Basis: processing necessary for requested pre-contract steps or contract performance follows Article 15(1)(4) of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act. Other purposes require a separate applicable basis or consent.
- Please leave out: passwords, verification codes, national identification numbers, sensitive information and real customer lists. Use redacted examples to explain your workflow.
03Retention and deletion
We retain ordinary inquiries until the inquiry and response are complete, then delete information without delay when it is no longer needed. An ongoing quote or support request is kept only as needed until that work ends. An inquiry is not added to an advertising list.
For paid engagements, information needed for delivery is distinguished from records that must be retained by law. Applicable record categories, legal grounds and retention periods are stated in the transaction information, and those records are kept separately for that purpose.
The responsible team member identifies and deletes messages, conversations and downloaded files that are due for deletion. Printed records, if any, are shredded or otherwise made unreadable. Deletion from a provider’s trash or backups follows that provider’s deletion process and cycle.
04Service providers and external inquiry channels
We use the following services for the website and business email. Processing needed to provide a service is distinct from disclosure for another company’s own purposes. We do not sell inquiry information or provide it for another company’s advertising. Legally required disclosures follow the applicable requirements.
- Cloudflare, Inc.

05International processing by service
The following services handle website visits and email inquiries. Information needed to provide these services may be transmitted to or stored on infrastructure outside Korea.
Cloudflare · website delivery and security
- Provider and contact
- Cloudflare, Inc. (based in the United States) · legal@cloudflare.com
- Information and purpose
- Connection IP address, request URL and time, browser information and technical information needed for security requests. Used to deliver requested pages, respond to errors and prevent abusive access.
- When and how
- When you open a page, its HTTPS requests are handled through Cloudflare’s network.
- Processing locations
- We use Cloudflare’s global network without a regional restriction. Requests may be processed outside Korea depending on routing and the processing activity.
- Retention and deletion
- The Free plan’s published Security Events history currently covers 31 days. This is not a common deletion deadline for all connection information. Other information follows the relevant service’s retention terms and data processing addendum. The addendum uses the earlier of contract termination or the end of the need to process data under the contract as its deletion or return criterion, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Refusal and its effect
- You can stop using the website to avoid processing from further visits. The site cannot be opened without Cloudflare’s delivery. You can request a consultation separately through KakaoTalk inquiry . Contact our representative email about information already processed.

Google Workspace · email inquiries

- Information and purpose
- Sender and recipient addresses, message content, attachments and sending or receiving time. Used to receive, store and answer inquiries you send.
- When and how
- When you send an email to our representative or our team replies, the message is transmitted and stored through the email service’s network.
- Processing locations
- Google uses global infrastructure. Locations depend on the service agreement and the scope of any applicable region settings.
- Retention and deletion
- We delete inquiry information under the completion criteria above. Deletion from Google’s trash, recovery systems and backups follows the service’s procedures and data processing addendum.
- Refusal and its effect
- If you do not want to use Google’s email processing, use KakaoTalk inquiry instead of our representative email. You can browse the site and fictional examples without using email. Request deletion or restriction of an existing inquiry by our representative email or your existing inquiry channel.

Email processing for the quote or pre-contract steps you request, or for contract performance, is limited to that work. Before processing additional information for another purpose or connecting another service, we assess the applicable basis and any required procedures.
06Connection information and security cookies
The connection information described above is processed to deliver and protect the website. Optional real-user performance monitoring (RUM) is disabled, and current pages do not serve its analytics script.
Cloudflare may use cookies when security checks are needed. Applicable cookies depend on connection conditions and security features. You can block or delete them through your browser’s cookie and site-data settings; blocking them may limit some security checks or access to pages. Cloudflare security cookies
The site does not run advertising tracking, marketing profiles or automated decisions about individuals.
07Access, correction, deletion and other rights
You or a lawful representative may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent for processing based on consent. Email the request and a reply method to our representative. We check only the minimum information needed to verify authority and respond within the procedures and periods required by law.
If a legal retention requirement, another person’s rights or another lawful reason limits a request, we explain the reason and available action. A legal guardian can use the same contact channel.
08Safeguards and additional services
Inquiry information is handled only by staff who need it to respond. We do not publish real inquiries in public pages or fictional demonstrations. Website transport uses HTTPS, and unnecessary information is removed under the retention criteria.
If an AI implementation, remote-support or development engagement needs additional customer data or another service connection, we separately define the actual data, purpose, permissions and retention. An ordinary inquiry does not authorize us to put customer work data into AI services or connect to customer accounts.
